SWAMP FOX COASTER UPDATE: Last night around 7:30 pm, a contracted company working was replacing decking on the Swamp Fox Coaster when some wood was ignited while cutting bolts out. A huge thank you to Myrtle Beach Fire Department for their prompt response when the smolder was alerted and their ability to contain the issue with no damage to the coaster!

The Swamp Fox

The legendary "Swamp Fox" wooden roller coaster has been a Myrtle Beach landmark since it opened in 1966. With a lift height of 72 feet, a 62-foot first drop and a track length of 2,640 feet, the "Swamp Fox" takes riders on a rip roaring adrenaline rush while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean!
